English : Postimees 1926-08-14 — Hans Pöhl's 50th birthday. Hans Pöhl was born 1876-08-15. He went to school in the Sutlep district, department of Haapsalu and continued his studies through Oxford and Cambridge. He was a teacher in both Sweden and Noarootsi and later taught English in Tallinn. He was the Swedish minority representative at the Estonian Provincial Assembly, in The Constituent Assembly and in the Estonian Parliament. Currently the chairman of the Estonian-Swedish Educational Association, the Swedish People's & Association of Teachers League, the Swedish-Finnish Congregation Council in Tallinn as well as the director of the Mariners' home in Tallinn.

Oli õpetajaks Rootsis ja Noarootsis, hiljem inglise keele õpetaja Tallinnas. Oli Rootsi vähemusrahvuse esindaja maapäeval, asutavas kogus ja 1. riigikogus. Praegu Eesti-Rootsi haridusseltsi, Rootsi rahva liidu ja õpetajate ühingu esimees, Tallinna-Rootsi-Soome koguduse nõukogu esimees ja Tallinna Merimeeste Kodu juhataja.

Den första skoltiden spenderade han vid läroverket i Hapsal, Nuckö kommun och senare vidare till fortsatta studier i Oxford och Cambridge. Han var den estlandssvenska minoritetsbefolkningens representant i den estniska provinsförsamlingen, dels i den konstituerande församlingen och dels i parlamentet. För närvarande ordförande i den Estnisk-Svenska Utbildningsföreningen, Svenska Förbundet, Lärarförbundet, den Svensk-Finska Församlingens råd i Tallinn samt direktör för Sjömanshemmet i Tallinn.
