John Wesley Cullison died on November 25, 1941 in rural Lincoln township, Caldwell County, Missouri.

Born November 3, 1859 in Greene County, IN he was the son of Kinsey and Nancy McHargue Cullison.

He was a retired farmer.

On December 19, 1888 he married Lucettia "Lucy" A. Edwards of Bonanza, at Kingston, Caldwell Co., MO by G. Tanguary, Preacher of the Gospel. To this union at least one son was born, being Howard F. Cullison on October 7, 1889. His siblings were: Sarah Elizabeth Cullison (John W.) Meredith of Caldwell Co., MO; Abner A. Cullison (Emma Thomas) of Arab, MO; Mariah Josephine Cullison (Aaron)Shaffer of Greene Co., IN; and half-siblings: Paris G. Cullison (Lola Donahue) of Canadian Co., OK; Asbury Cullison, Greene Co., IN; Pheoba Ann Cullison (Samuel) Pollard of Polo, Caldwell Co., MO; Harriet Emma Cullison (Andrew) Hardisty of Greene Co., IN; William Cullison (Nora Johnson) of Greene Co., IN; and Guy Cullison of Bollinger Co., MO.

Funeral arrangements were in charge of Cramer Clark, Kingston, Missouri.
