Margery was the daughter of William la Zouche and Elizbaeth de Roos/Ros.[1][2] Her birth date is uncertain.

Margery married Robert de Willoughby[3] before 1 October 1369,[1][2] hen she is named as Robert's wife in a record relating to John de Newerk of Fulstow, Lincolnshire.[4] They had five sons:

  1. William Willoughby, 1st son and heir; 5th Lord Willoughby of Eresby. Born about 1370, died Died 4 Dec 1409 at about age 39 in Edgefield, Norfolk, England. Married 1) Lucy Strange 2) Joan Holland
  2. Robert Willoughby
  3. Thomas Willoughby, of Boston and Frampton. Born before 1378, died before 6 May 1418 at about age 40 in Lincolnshire, England. Married Elizabeth Neville.
  4. John Willoughby “He was ancestor of the Willoughby Bts of Baldon House, Oxfordshire”
  5. Brian Willoughby. Born circa 1384.

In 1380 Margery received a bequest of a cup under her mother's will.[5]

Margery died on 18 October 1391 and was buried at Spilsby, Lincolnshire.[1][2][3] The memorial inscription at Spilsby for her and her husband does not mention the name of her birth family, Zouche.[6] Her husband survived her, subsequently marrying Elizabeth le Latimer.[1][2]
