About Recha Feibel (Deutschkron)

Recha Deutschkron was born in Betsche, modern-day Pszczew, Poznan, Poland, around 1884. She was the third child of Benjamin Deutschkron and Henrietta Haendel. Recha first-married Max Philippsborn and they had four children. Recha and Max divorced and Recha then married Mr. Feibel. On 13 June, 1942, Recha was transported from Berlin to Majdanek, where she perished. The Gedenkbuch incorrectly lists her birthplace as Bentschen and states that she perished in Sobibor.
