Soldier John" Combs was a Revolutionary War Soldier who was with General Washington at Valley Forge.

He belonged to the company commanded by Capt. Jonathan Langlin and he thinks Ensign Slaughter Haftern and the company of Capt. Benjamin Casey - Field Officers, Col. James Wood, Lieut. Col. Neville, Gen. Scott, and Maj. Jonathan Clark...

He received wounds in his neck and leg in the war.
