About Eli Lloyd
Eli was born in Eastern Pennsylvania in Lancaster ( I believe in Chester Co. in Uwclan Twp.). He moved with his family to Chanceford Twp., York Co. and then to Franklin Twp. in Fayette Co. In 1806, he is located in Jefferson Co. in Ohio. There was an Indian problem and it scared many of the settlers and they moved back to Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Campbell In Wheeling, West Virginia in 1807-1809. He was listed in the 1810 US Census in Hopewell Twp. in Washington Co. , Pa.
Eli was related to Gen. "Mad" Anthony Wayne-they were cousins.
