About the Keeling surname

HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE?I came to this site looking for ancestors from my (Mabel Burkhart, dob 1906)gmothers line. But when I found some of the Burkharts, I also found something I certainly was not expecting. I found my gfather on my father's side, had actually married a Burkhart, & up t states that she was already pregnant when they got married. And that child was Julia Anne Keeling! My paternal gggmother. So from what iv found is--MY DADS GMOTHER,Julia, (MY GGMOTHER), WAS THE LEGAL HEIR TO HER FATHER, Edward Keeling, WHICH WAS ALSO MY GGGFATHER ON MY MOTHERS Mm art alice Lewis, SIDE. I asked my aunt earlier today if perhaps I am my own cousin? Actually I believe I'm going to dig a little more to perhaps find if there was some error.
