RootsTech 2017

In one week Geni will be heading to Salt Lake City, Utah for RootsTech 2017, the world’s largest genealogy conference. RootsTech has always been a little unique with its interesting blend of genealogy and technology. Open to newbies and experts, RootsTech is the perfect place to meet fellow genealogy researchers and discover new family history technologies.

RootsTech will take place February 8-11, 2017 at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The conference will be offering over 200 sessions for all skill levels and a large expo hall to explore. The conference will also be live streaming several sessions for those unable to attend.

This year’s speakers include Property Brothers hosts Jonathan and Drew Scott, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, actor LeVar Burton, genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and many more.

We’re excited to share the latest developments on Geni with attendees, including DNA integration in the World Family Tree. The Geni team and curators will be on hand to help answer questions and introduce new users to the power of collaboration in the World Family Tree. With over 112 million people connected to the World Family Tree, it’s possible they may even discover some new cousins!

Will you be there? We love meeting Geni users. Come visit us at booth 633 and say hello!
