Now that I’ve got my sea legs here at Geni, and since I’ve told you all what I do, I think it’s important to explain a little bit about why I care so much about Geni and the genealogy community. I am deeply vested in Geni succeeding well into the future, and that’s why I’m here.

I want Geni to grow and get better because I am a user, and I’ve been one long before working here was ever an option. Geni is an everyday thing for me, and I want to do everything I can to make it better. That means listening to current users, reaching out to new ones, and making some kick-butt content.

What I’ve found that I like the most about working at Geni is the sincere desire the entire team has for making the best family tree tool. We all want to make a wonderful user experience for everyone. Some problems are harder to solve than others, but I’m seeing first hand how hard everyone is working on making Geni better than the rest.
