Geni at Spotlight: LA Tech

This Thursday, November 18th, Geni will be presenting at the inaugural Spotlight: LA Tech event hosted by TechZulu at the UCLA Anderson School of Management (map link).  The event is a “screening room for new technology homegrown in our region. It’s a gallery of great entrepreneurship.”

TechZulu is holding the event to provide an environment for young entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts to network and meet with the creators of the most innovating local technologies.  In addition to Geni, the showcase will feature presentations from Namesake, distribber, SocialAnnex, Tek Trak, and Zugara.  Tickets are $20, and they are currently still available from Eventbritght.  We’d love to see some Geni users in attendance.  We’ll have some specials and schwag for attendees, too.

Geni President Noah Tutak will be providing a five minute demo of the Geni web site, followed by a 10 minute Q-and-A session where attendees can ask questions about our site and services.  Check-in begins at 6:30pm, the demos start at 7:00pm, and the show ends with a cocktail/networking reception from 8:30-9:30pm.
