Geni is Heading to RootsTech 2025
There’s just a few more days until we head to the largest genealogy event in the world! RootsTech 2025 will take place on March 6-8, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah and will be both in-person and online.

This year RootsTech has some exciting keynote speakers including Emmy-winning singer Rachel Platten, Olympic and Paralympic gold medalists Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall, and activist and author Ndaba Mandela, who is the grandson of Nelson Mandela.
See Geni in the Expo Hall
If you’re attending in person, you can stop by the expo hall to meet the Geni team at booth #1202. We’re happy to chat and answer all of your questions. Or take a break and sit down to do a little work on the tree. Our conference computers will have free access to all Geni Pro features! We’re also giving away our famous Geni notebooks. Be sure to stop by and pick one up before they are all gone.
If you’re attending online, you may visit Geni’s virtual booth in the online expo hall. Join the booth chat to say hello or post any questions you may have. We’ll be happy to help!
MyHeritage Booth Lecture
Every day MyHeritage will be holding short lectures at their booth. Stop by the MyHeritage booth on Friday, March 7 at 11:00am to see Geni’s General Manager Mike Stangel introduce our newest feature in the tree. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
Discover New Relatives with the Geni Pathfinder

Whether you are participating in person or online, you can also have a little fun with World Family Tree with the Geni Pathfinder to see how you’re related to other RootsTech attendees. Scan the QR code in the image above or go to the Geni Pathfinder page to sign up to be notified of new cousin discoveries during the conference. Visit the Geni Pathfinder page at anytime to view a list of attending relatives and send a message to your new connections.
Whether you’re attending in-person or online, we can’t wait to see you there!
