Geni Will Be at Jamboree 2013!

We’re excited to attend the 44th Annual Southern California Genealogy Jamboree next week! From June 7 – 9, genealogists and family history enthusiasts will gather at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel for one of the funnest genealogy events of the year.

And with the conference so close to home, you can expect several folks from the Geni office to stop by throughout the weekend.  We’ll be there along side MyHeritage, with a huge space for both MyHeritage (booths 408, 409) and Geni (booths 410, 411). We love meeting users, so be sure to stop by and say hi!

The MyHeritage team will also be presenting several sessions throughout the course of the conference. Check out the Jamboree schedule and mobile app for full details and room numbers:

Friday, June 7
9:30 – 10:30am – Daniel Horowitz, Chief Genealogist: “Crowdsourcing: When the Power of Many Benefits All.”
3 – 4pm – Daniel: “MyHeritage – The Ultimate Genealogy SuperSearch Engine.”

Saturday, June 8:
11:30am – 12:30pm – Daniel: “MyHeritage Record Matching Technology: Linking Your Family with the History.”

Sunday, June 9:
11:15am – 12:45pm – Daniel: Demo session on Family Tree Builder 7.0
1 – 2pm – Daniel: “MyHeritage: Enhanced Smart Matches and Social Networking Technologies: Facilitating Collaboration.”
