E.B. White
Happy birthday, E.B. White! On July 11, 1899, the Charlotte’s Web author was born in Mount Vernon, New York. The notable children’s book author was the youngest child of Smauel Tilly White, the president of a piano firm, and Jessie Hart White, the daughter of painter William Hart. In 1978, White won an honorary Pulitzer Prize for his work.
