Florence Nightingale
On May 12, 1820, English nurse Florence Nightingale was born. Nightingale gained prominence for her nursing work during the Crimean War. In 1860, she founded the first nursing school at St. Thomas’ Hospital and is credited with laying the foundations for establishing nursing as a profession. How are you related?
