On July 6, 1907, Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was born. Best known for her self portraits, Kahlo often used vibrant colors and elements of Mexican tradition in her surrealist paintings. In 1929, Kahlo married fellow Mexican painter Diego Rivera. Check out her family tree on Geni!
