Joe DiMaggio
On May 3, 1936 Joe DiMaggio made his major league debut with the New York Yankees. Considered one of the greatest baseball players in history, DiMaggio holds the Major League Baseball hitting streak record with a streak of 56 consecutive games in 1941. In 1955, he was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
