Margaret Mitchell

On May 3, 1937, Margaret Mitchell won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for her epic novel Gone With the Wind. Her book was a phenomenal success and in 1939, it was adapted to film starring Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. Today her novel and the film continue to have a strong following.
