Sir Geoffrey de Havilland
On July 27, 1882, pioneer aviator and aircraft engineer Sir Geoffrey de Havilland was born. In 1920, he founded the de Havilland Aircraft Company. De Havilland and his company designed many innovative aircrafts, a large number of which were used during the First World War.
