The Midwest Family History Expo Recap

Posted August 2, 2011 by Geni | No Comment

Last weekend, George and I were in Kansas representing Geni at the Midwest Family History Expo. We got to talk to hundreds of enthusiastic genealogists, and a bunch of Geni fans. We had two presentations about collaborative genealogy, and we also participated with Ruby Coleman, Arlene Eakle, and Holly Hansen in a blogging panel. Everyone who attended learned something, and that means a lot to us. We’re happy to be raising awareness of collaborative genealogy.

It was a great time, and I wholeheartedly suggest you come see us later in the year at the Northern California Family History Expo and the Georgia Family History Expo. You’ll have a great time, get some neat swag, and you’ll get to go to classes presented by Geni and other FHE participants. Don’t forget to tell us you’re a Geni user. We love meeting users at shows.

Below are some more pics we took at the event. If you’re interested in following us at shows, make sure to follow our twitter account.
