I must correct my self, I don't know if any person actually can state that they are not blood-related to any other human just because they can't find the path between them, at some level in history every single living human being on this planet share a common ancestry as belonging to homo sapiens sapiens. So what we can say something about are just about if we can find a path or not.

It mostly matters if you 'feel' related to these people or not.

But finding a connection here on Geni works somehow as an convincing physical piece of evidence, of something we already know in the back of our minds, we are one big global family, I feel :)

and if you have about 45 minutes to sit and look, listen....here is a nice collection of John Singer Sargent Paintings. A master of using light and dark.
Cheers everyone.

Sargent's Paintings are a joy to watch, Private User. Thank you for sharing this :)

@ Jamey L Lopez, re
John Singer Sargent : Thank you for that wonderful link allowing time to stop, savour and fully appreciate the amazing collection. Earlier this year, I saw an exhibition of some 100 paintings by Sargent, in London's National Portrait Gallery -- the website you have supplied, allows one to go way beyond the famous items and to enjoy many not often seen - as well as to linger over the lovely watercolours featured during his later life,, when he was more at liberty to be swift or spontaneous - the brushed statements, selected palette -reflect a kind of joy, for us to share,
The follow-up videos are so interesting too,, including some art lessons by the ex-forger !
from Pauline. (btw: Sargent : 16th cousin thrice removed., happy to say !)

Your welcome @Dimitri I love to look at his paintings

Your welcome Private you and I are 15th cousins twice removed by the way.
I was able to visit the Tate Gallery in London in 1992. A great experience.

Sargent is truly a painter whose work I would like to study more often.

Brilliant, now I don't know whether to get painting or give up because I'll never make the grade!

No, don't give up Terry Jackson (Switzer)! You are good at what you are doing. You make beautiful paintings too. Just don't compare your selling prices of your work, with his LOL

Lol, I did wonder if maybe I charged thousands people might suddenly believe they were worth it!

LOL

I've added a couple of paintings I did whilst on holiday in Canada. I don't know if I've done it exactly right.

You may decide which one you want to keep. Lay-out wise, I reserved three works of art for everybody to present at the Plaza :)

Thanks, done.

Wonderful Terry Jackson (Switzer) :) beautiful work by the way

Dimitri Gazan flattery will get you nowhere with some people but with me.....:¬}

I knew I could count on you LOL Terry Jackson (Switzer)

@Jamey L Lopez, Ulf Ingvar Göte Martinsson, do either of you have a connection to sculptor Alexander Archipenko?

Would like to get Archipenko connected to Geni's Big Family Tree. His profile was added to the Degenerate Art project earlier today.

Thanks!
