There was been an error in my genealogy data and this person has got wrong parents:

Matts Eliasson Jäntti

I'm unable to delete the relationship link to his wrong parents. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think the real parents are in the Geni yet. Not in my tree,anyway.

According to the communion book of Viitasaari parish,Finland, they were:
Elias Jacobsson Jäntti, born 1770 Finland
and his wife
Lisa Påhlsdotter Närhi, born 21 Jul 1781 Finland

FYI: Matts Eliasson Jäntti has a nice match (albeit a duplicated one) to a MyHeritage tree showing with the SmartMatches; has parents and siblings.

The "wrong" tree is quite ok otherwise. That Elias and Maria also had a child Matts Eliasson Jäntti, born 24 Dec 1801 Pielavesi, FI, but he died at the age of 1y 6mon on 13 May 1803 Kukertais, Pielavesi, FI.

I've found an abandoned user profile (part of the World Tree) who has private profiles in the 1600s blocking merges.
I used the Actions button on the profile intending to Report him as abandoned but there was a ctually an Abandoned Tree optin without any need to use the Report option(?). When i chose this option i then got a red error bar "Unable to find a replacement manager."

Now when i try to Report there is no option for Abandoned Tree(?). So what should i do next?
One action available is Add to Family Group, if i did that would Geni then make me the replacement manager? Or would it just hang up waiting for the other guy to accept an invite to my family?

We could try to make some of the profiles public if that helps.

It would wait for the other guy to accept the invite, which likely wont happen. The Abandoned Tree option will come back in a few days. If you give us a link we can try to make some of the profiles public like Jeff said

Alex Moes Once you have reported an abandoned tree, you can not report it again. Hopefully Geni will release his unclaimed profiles but you will not know if or when they do with links, curators might be able to make them public.

I only posted in here because the process seems to have changed.
It used to be Actions>Report>Abandoned but this time around it was Actions>Abandoned.
Jeff's sorted out the initial merge that i was looking at so i'll leave it for now.

Alex Geni added the additional menu item, it will only present when a tree is "reportable." Saves the navigation through the report menu, doesn't solve the problem of "no manager available" ....

Hey, I'm new here and am wondering how or if I can join a family tree, or at the least correct errors made in regards to family members of mine already on here. (Eldon Clark (C) is the person who manages the profiles with errors).
Not very computer literate, so please keep that in mind when answering.

As far as I can see the pending merge of Johanne Kirstine Marie Knudsen born Madsen (Ladefoged) is not a private profile or tree. Neither her husband Andreas Knudsen.

Another way to phrase it is

The profiles are public, but the tree is private & UN connected to the "world tree"

I know that because I see the message

"No path found to Johanne Kristine Marie Madsen Ladefoged"

But for your profile I see the message

"You are connected to Johanne Kirstine Marie Knudsen (Madsen (Ladefoged)).
You
→ How are you related? → Johanne Kirstine Marie Knudsen (Madsen (Ladefoged)) your relative?"

So

- send a "collaboration request" to the other manager, and if you like, point out how the profiles are a match, and collaborating will bring new cousins to her tree.

Can you please help me resolve data conflict issues...

Leslie Vides is an older gentlemen who doesn't visit Geni anymore, as such this merge issue isn't being resolved. It's a very minor issue

In addition, her name should be capitalized.

Larry, I actually *did* approve your first one, but I'm going to revert my changes now that I see it's a claimed profile. Since that is an actual, active Geni user, she has the right to set their name as they see fit. If you would like her to change her profile, you should ask her directly.

For that reason, I will *not* resolve your second data conflict, as that is also for an active Geni user. Again, you should contact her directly to suggest the change.
