Hi dear Geni Friends

OK. we would all like to see the Profile Of Reb Elimelech and his family corrected however I noticed a few unknows and common mistakes.

First of all there seems to be a mistake in the names of Reb Elimelechs children on common online blogs. He had no daughter Gitel however even here on geni his profile lists a daughter Gitel. This is a common mistake I noticed it even on http://lizensk.com/biography and on http://www.ivelt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3820&start=0&pos...=

Second of all what Reb Elimelechs mother name was? common thought has it as Mirish/Mirel however some claim that her name was Gitel.

Third unkown to me however I am sure if we work together we can figure out the name of his second wife and did she have any children and who are they. I knw on Geno we have Gitel as a second wife, is the name verified.

I see the many of the names of some of the top geni mevinim here so friends lets pull this one together

best regards

Zev

Zev - can we move this to http://www.geni.com/discussions/92179 so that we have all discussion on Noam Elimelech in one place?

Private User Thank you David. Does Akevoth have any information regarding Noam Elimelech? You have been immensely helpful in sorting out complicated rabbinical lines with your strong scholarly background in other obtuse areas of the tree, and I would really appreciate your help here too.

@ Zev, if there are lines attached to Gitel, the daughter that appears on some sites, and not others, then it is best to leave that part alone, and first just focus on tidying up the family members that we are certain about.
