It has been claimed that Agnes Hill, here treated, is the daughter of George Hill and his wife Marion Fleming FamilySearch This couple did have a daughter named Agnes whose baptism was registered on 20 June 1613, at Glasgow in Lanarkshire, Scotland, [National Records of Scotland, Glasgow Baptisms, reference OPR.644/1/1] but it has not been proved that this child was the same person as the woman who subsequently married George Leiper, younger, Skinner in Glasgow
