She is the sister of William Semple (1871-1944); Jane Campbell (Semple) Whitelaw (1872-1953); Janet (Semple) Lang (1876-1953); John Semple (1879-1941); Henry Semple, Sr (1881-1953); Marion (Semple) Mauchline (1883-1955); Thomas Semple (1886-1953) and Isabella "Isabel" Semple (1891-1969).
Agnes Semple married Charles James Haddon (1884-1958). She is the mother of Douglas Stewart Haddon (1917-1944) and Charles "Chuck" Deacon Semple Haddon.
On Dec 25, 1911, Scottish born Agnes Semple, age 22 of Vancouver, Canada, married Charles James Haddon, age 27, a Fruit Rancher of Arrow Lake, B.C., born in England. The religious affiliation noted of the groom was Congregationalist and bride was Presbyterian. Wedding was performed by Rev. H.W. Fraser, D.D. at 400 Cordova St. E. Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Witnesses appeared to be related to the minister, Lizzie May Fraser and M.J. Fraser of Vancouver, B.C.
On December 12, 1974, widow Agnes Nancy (Semple) Haddon, age 85 and living with her son, Charles, at 7525 - 112th Street, North Delta, B.C., died at Willington Private Hospital, Burnaby, B.C.. The cause was acute cardiac asystole due to lymph sarcoma as given by attending physician, Dr. B.R. Roy. Informant was her son, signed as Cal Haddon.
On Dec. 16, 1974, cremation with disposition at Victory Memorial Park, Surrey, B.C. Arrangements with Richmond Funeral Home, Richmond, B.C.
