The son of James and Lillie Vandeventer McKee, he was born March 26, 1908, near Lyons. He was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Reba Emery McKee; one daughter, Judith Burns of Culver; on son Stephen of Bradenton; one sister Thelma Hennebohle of Pinellas Park, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

Funeral Services were conducted Wedensday at Bradenton Home and burial was in Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, Fla

Mr. McKee went to Bradenton from Culver, Ind. in September 1974.

He retired as a service station manager for Exxon Corporation. He was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Reba; a daughter, Judith Burns of Culver, In.; and a son, Stephen of Bradenton, Flordia; a sister, Thelma Hennebohle of Pinellas Park, Flordia, and three grandchildren.

He retired as a service station manager for the Exxon Corporation.

Mr. McKee was born at Lyons and wnet to Bradenton from Culver in 1974.

He was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.

She was predeceased by her husband Alvin McKee. Survivors include son, Stephen Mckee (Sheryl); daughter, judy burns; three grandchildren; sister, Norma Emery.

Till his marriage he stayed at home helping his father farm.

When he married he removed to Bloomington, Monroe, In. and worked in a drug store.

They moved then to Danville, In. where he worked on a dairy farm.

In Nov. 1952 he went to Culver where he was employed with the Newman Dairy farm and his family followed in Dec. 1952. Sometime shortly before 1956/7 when the Newmans quit selling milk to the Academy he went to work for A. Judson Dillon till he quit farming in 1962.

In Aug. 1962 he took over the management of the Enco service station on Lakehore Dr. in Culver till it burned on 30 Jan. 1972. He then worked part time for the owner at his other stations at Rochester, Fulton, In. moving there in May 1974 and then in Sep. 1974 after Reba had her 20 years of service in at Marshall Co. Parkview Hospital and retired they moved to Bradenton, Manatee, Fl. and she went to work there till she fully retired in 1983.

He worked part time at first and a product market next door and then at a Service station there till his health dictated that he stop in early 1980.

Reba was a Registered Nurse and graduated from City Hospital School of Nursing (now Wishard Hospital) in Indianapolis, In.
