Andrew John LEHN is the son of Balthazar and Mary (Hoffert) Lehn. He married Mary Cecilia DOLAN about August of 1910. Their children were: Sylvester J 1910-1981; Lawrence Balthazar 1912-1990; and Elizabeth Mary (Junker) 1914-1987. They moved to the Fruita area, from Indianola, Nebraska about 1935. Times were tough and work was scarce, leading Andrew's family to abandon the Nebraska farm and travel with his son-in-law, Floyd Junker, and his family in search of work. They had stopped in eastern Colorado to work for a cousin in the harvest fields for a couple months and then moved on to Marble, Colo., where they spent some time working in the marble quarry. Their travels took them to Arizona to work in the cotton fields for a brief time and then back to Fruita. After Andrew's death, his wife and the Junker family migrated to Wyoming about 1939 and then on back to Red Willow County, Nebraska by 1941.
The following "cousins" are buried in this same cemetery and died within just a couple of months of Andrew. It does not appear that the deaths were in any way connected. Lehn, Andrew 1879 - 1936 Lehn, Catherine 1881 - 1936 Lehn, Ray 1907 - 1936
