About August Lehn

August LEHN was born to Balthazar and Mary (Hoffert) Lehn on 31 May 1875 in Fish Creek, NY. He married Catherine Agnes Dolan in Red Willow County, Nebraska on 22 Oct 1902. He moved from New York to Nebraska with his parents about 1879, settling in Beaver Pct. of Red Willow County. August and his wife and 10 children came to the Fruita area in 1934 and remained here as a farmer the rest of his life.

NOTE: His daughter Isabel Marie (Lehn) O'NEIL identified his burial place as "Catholic Cemetery". It is *assumed* that this cemetery, Sacred Heart / Calvary is the site for the burial, although there is no marker. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at the time of his death.
