About Ann Elizabeth Faure

Disputed Mother

Although several online sources say the mother of this family is Rhoda Ann Faure (Ford), the Bonderant Family Association, which has done extensive research on this family says this:
"Jean Pierre married Ann Tanner and they had five children: Joseph, John, Ann, Frances, and Peter."

https://www.bondurant-family.org/styled-21/ BFA Genealogy Research Committee
"The Genealogy Research Committee was established by the BFA membership at the October 26, 2019 annual meeting in Portland, Oregon. Its purpose is “to further our understanding of the various Bondurant family lineages descending from John Peter (Jean Pierre) Bondurant and Ann Tanner, and assist Members in moving forward in their research so that they can firmly establish their connections to the correct lineage” using traditional genealogical methods as well as DNA testing."

The one thing everyone seems to agree on is that her name was Ann. The plaque that the family erected in 1990 says "Jean Pierre Bonderant and his wife Ann. ... He married Ann... Their five children are John, Peter, Jospeh, Ann and Frances." No mention of a birth name for Ann.
