Obituary:
Mrs. Anton Kulas, 74, 1023 East Wabasha Street, died at 5:45 AM today at her home. Death was due to a heart attack and followed an illness of three years. Mrs. Kulas was born in Lipnica, Poland, March 10, 1873 and lived here 56 years. Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Estelle Costly, Minneapolis; Mrs. Frank (Frances) Matejka; Mrs. Helen Rumpca and Mrs. Felix (Esther) Trzebiatowksi, Winona; and six sons, Bernard Kostuch, Frank Kostuch, Joseph Kulas, Walter Kulas, and Alois Kulas, Winona and Anthony Kulas, Lewiston; 30 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Thursday at 9AM at the Borzyskowski mortuary, the Rev. N. F. Grulkowski officiated. The rosary was held at 7:30PM Tuesday at the mortuary and at 7:30PM Wednesday by Father Grulkowski. Pallbearers were Ray Kostuch, Frank Wera, John and Frank Heftman, Gracian Kulas and Charles Kulas. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
