R Asher Anshel Wiener Spira was head of the Beth Din Moreh Shaveh in Prague and also Rabbi of the Zigeuner synagogue. His grave inscription is briefly recorded in Hock, p. 381. The full inscription is given by Dr. Marcus Brann, "Die Grabschriftcn der Familie Fränkl-Spira in Prag", in Monatschrift, vol. 46, 1902, pp 456 & 457.
