Ben Tahmahkera
Indiahoma (Staff) – Services for Ben Tahmahkera, 77, Indiahoma, who died Saturday in a Lawton hospital following a lengthy illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Post Oak Indian Church here. Rev. Sherwood Tsotigh and Rev. Robert Coffee will officiate. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in Huddleston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Cache Indian Tribal Cemetery.
Mr. Tahmahkera was born Jan. 6, 1898, in Cache. He married Virginia Poahway March 19, 1923, in Lawton. He was a member of the Cache Indian Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Franklin, Cache; two daughters, Lucille Wesori, Cicero, Ind., and Leatrice Cable, Indiahoma; two brothers: Vance and Lewis, both of Indiahoma, and a sister, Sophia Mahsetky, Apache.
