John Conclen, baptized 19 September 1630 in the Parish Church of Nuthall, Nottinghamshire, England; died 6 April 1694, Southold, Suffolk County, New York. He married Sarah (Horton) Salmon, the daughter of Barnabas Horton and widow of William Salmon. She died after 3 April 1663 and prior to 3 April 1686. John Conklin is believed to have married second Mary [? ], who is buried near him in Southold, having died 2 November 1688.

On Oct 8, 1655 John Conckeleyne, Jun “aged about 25 years” gave a deposition in Southold in which he mentions his father John Conckelyne, Senr and his mother who was “much troubled” by having Thomas Brush there to also Witness the will of Mr. Frostb who was leaving his whole estate to John Conckelyne, sr.
Will of John Concklin dated 4 February 1689 and probated 15 May 1694:[12]
To all Christian People greeting Know ye yt I John Concklin of S. hold on Long Island though weak in body yet of sound memory do appoint make & declare these presents my last Will & testamt in form following viz.:
First I commit my soul to Jesus Christ my merciful redeemer & my body being dead by decent burial to ye earth believing yt it shall rise again at ye last day and as for my worldly goods I thus dispose them
