Married, Feb. 4, 1691-92, Elizabeth Sherburne, daughter of Capt. Samuel Sherburne of Hampton, whose son Henry married a sister of the first Governor Wentworth, and became a Provincial Councillor. Died June 20, 1741.
His will, dated Jan. 4, 1741. mentions wife Elizabeth, gives sons Samuel and Jonathan all his lands, and 10s. each to children Elizabeth, Acha, Margaret. Love, Sarah, and Mary.

Jonathan died June 20, 1741, aged 69, at Hampton and was buried in the Plains Cemetery at Kingston, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
