Funeral Services This Afternoon For Douglas Keene

Funeral services for Carlton Douglas Keene, 34, who died in St. Vincent hospital at 9:30 p.m. Sunday have been announced for 5 o'clock this evening at the Ivanhoe Baptist church with the Revs. Odie Cary and J. I. Gregory officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery, Wise in charge.

Mr. Keene was born May 4, 1909 at Ivanhoe, the son of the late Henry Todd Keene and Mrs. Myra Pearson Keene. He had resided in Fannin county in the Ivanhoe and Elwood communities all of his life and had engaged in farming.

He was married to Miss Lesta Mae Withrow, who survives.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. A. C. Peterson; his wife, Mrs. Lesta Mae Keene; two daughters, Doris Mae Keene, Sandra Sue Keene; three brothers, Harris and Buddy Keene, Ivanhoe; Forrest Keene, Dallas and one sister, Miss Mary Ann Peterson.
