Myrtle Peterson Dies in California
Mrs. Myrtle O. Peterson, 84, widow of A. C. Peterson, a long-time resident of Bonham, died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 2, 1967, at 4 o'clock, in Fullerton, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Wise Funeral home with Rev. J. I. Gregory of Van Alstyne, Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Peterson was born in Greenville May 29, 1882. She had made her home in Bonham and was an active member of First Baptist church until her health failed and she moved to California to be near her daughter.
Survivors are three sons, Harris and Buddy Keene, both of Bonham, and Forrest Keene of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Covert of Fullerton, Calif., and 14 grandchildren.
