Catharine Augusta Søbøtker

Catharine Augusta Søbøtker was born on St. Croix in about 1814/1820 and was baptized on 24 July 1814 in the Frederiksted Lutheran Mission Church, classified as free and a mulatto.  In October 1841, she was living with her mother and sister Mary, at 25 Company Street, Christiansted, free, not married and employed “by industry.” In May 1850, she was living at [now] 2 Company Street, Christiansted, unmarried.
