Funeral Obit March 11, 1891 Blacksmith Hagen died very suddenly last week. He rose, built a fire and returned to bed. He was taken with a coughing fit and almost immediately expired. He had been ailing several years, but was not considered dangerously ill. He left his wife Anne and 8 children to mourn his loss. Family and friends followed him to his last resting place in the West Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery.
