Christian Clayton Harter

Harter, Nellie A. The Emanuel Harter Family. p. 11.:

  Christian Clayton, third child of William and Eliza Harter, was born in Copley Township, Summit County. After the death of his father in 1895, he remained with his widowed mother until the youngest member of the family was through high school after which he was married to Pearl Murilla Young, born September 12, 1880. He was employed as a stationary engineer at the Ohio Match Company and later engaged in farming in Montville Township.

 After Christian's death, his wife sold their farming equipment  and moved to Wadsworth, keeping her family together. Her death occured April 10, 1941. Both are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth. Their two elder children were born in Wadsworth and the others in Montville Township.
