It appears Jacob and Margaretta Kimmel had another child after arriving in Philadelphia 10/25/1768 aboard the ship Crawford and before they moved to Westmoreland County.
It appears they moved first to Petersville and after lands opened to the public around Greensburg in Westmoreland County in 1769 were among Petersville families that moved there when the lands officially opened for settlement. One supporting clue is that the only Altman record in the church in Petersville was that one in 1768 that had John Peter and Christine Altman as sponsors.
John Peter and Christine Altman were sponsors in a 1772 baptism at Harrold's Church near Greensburg and had their own child baptized there in 1774. Johann Jacob and Margaretta Kimmel, whose son Johann Conrad was baptized at Petersville, had their next child baptized at Harrold's in 1772.
At least two children of Jacob and Margaretta Kimmel married into the Altman family.
