Christine Lochhead

CHRISTINE LOCHHEAD (OTHERWISE CRISTEINE LOCHEID)

Christine Lochhead is the daughter of Walter Lochead, and his wife, Bitrage Pollock. She was probably born in 1621 for her baptism was registered at Glasgow High Church on 7 October 1621 [Scotland, Births and Baptisms, 1564-1950, index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VQHV-Z5P

Marriage

Christine Lochhead married John Cordiner on 14 October 1647 [Scotland, Marriages, 1561-1910, index, FamilySearch] https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTB4-QMS Christine's father was a baxter (baker), and one of the burgesses of Glasgow, and her husband was enrolled as a burgess and guild brother of Glasgow by the Town Council, in right of his marriage to Christine, on 10 January 1650 [James R.
