Dan Bridges, Jr. was born December 12, 1923 in Arkansas, son of Dan Bridges and Thelma (Roy) Bridges. He completed his high school education. By 1930, Dan and his family were living in Hugo, Choctaw County, Oklahoma.

On April 20, 1943 during World War II, he enlisted into military service.

On April 26, 2006, Dan Bridges, Jr., age 82, died with burial in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, Oklahoma.
