About Delmar Alfred Wartman
Pierceville,Ks--Delmar Alfred Wartman,65, was found dead Thursday, March 5,1981 at his home near Ingalls,Ks. Born Dec.31,1915 at Johnson, Ks to Charles John and Ruby Lavinah(Leigh) Wartman. He was a resident of the area for 50 years and a stockman.
He was a member of the VFW and was an Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors include: brothers, Jack, Thomas, Dr. Calvin Wartman and sisters, Wenonah Macky, Blanche Streeter, Herma Snodgrass and Betty Clark.
Graveside service was held for family members at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City,Ks on Saturday. Memorial service was held at Pierceville Federated Church on Sunday with Rev. Charles Wagher officiating.
Phillips-WHite Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials to the church.
