Dorcas Tabitha Blanton

Dorcas Tabitha Bland was the daughter of James T. Bland and Esther Bland. She was the wife of John Blanton. Together they had the following children:

The name "Dorcas" was handed down to her granddaughter Susanna Dorcas Blanton, daughter of Moses Newton Blanton and to a contemporary generation with my sister Mary Dorcas (Dee) Floyd, Dorcas Blanton's 3x great granddaughter. Sadly, a beautiful biblical name has been lost to fashion. SFG
