About Earle Hurd Dickey
Earle and three of his brothers were musicians and had The Dickey Brothers Band for a while.
Earle worked with his brother, Ginnattie, in their photography business in Laredo, TX in the late 1910s. Later, he became a construction painter, then a sign & billboard painter. According to remeniscenses of Mrs. J. M. Dowda, Earle was a "sweet and loving man. He and Cora had separated for a short time. He was six feet tall, slender, handsome and had reddish-brown hair, and also, had that Dickey trait of a Roman nose."
