Elisha Lawson was the son of Thomas and Nancy Elizabeth "Jeffers" Lawson. He married Mary Nancy Counts and they had at least 14 children.

The man in the photo is Elisha Lawson, son of Thomas Lawson and brother to the women sitting next to him in this photo.

Elisha had moved to Texas as a widower when his wife, Mary Nancy (COUNTS) of 20 years, had died. He moved with 4 of his 11 children to Erath, Co, TX.
