Elisha is named in his grandfather's will. Wilkes County Will Book 1, Pg 228. He is also mentioned in a letter written by Granville Owens, (1866-1941) on 7 March 1938, as being a son of David Owen. He is listed in the Revolutionary War Pension Records as being David's son.
