Information from Gary L. Laswell, 737 Garfield St., Emporia, KS 66801 indicate that Wilmouth Owen and John Laswell migrated to Platte Co., MO as early as 1840. Wilmouth is listed as a charter member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Green Twnshp. as of 12-Oct-1844.
