Allerton married, as his first wife, Elizabeth (...) in New Haven, Connecticut in 1652/3. When his wife Elizabeth died circa 1660, he moved his family to Northumberland County, in Virginia's Northern Neck.
They had two children, Elizabeth (1653–1740) and Isaac (1655-?).[18]
