Elizabeth Bachus was the daughter of John Bachus 1802 and Hannah Steivers.

She was born in Rensselaer County, and married Daniel Gillett in Rensselaer County. Their first few children were born in Columbia County. They were in Middlefield, Otsego County in 1820. Some of their children were born in Otsego County up to 1827, when it appears they moved to Mendon, Monroe county, where they lived the rest of their lives.

Harriet 1817-1849, married John Goff, lived in Mendon. 2 children.

William Gillett 1819, married Mary Jane Eckler, lived in Mendon until 1870 then moved to St Joseph County, Michigan, 3 children.

John Gillett 1820 born Otsego, married Sophia Josephine Hill, moved to Calhoun County, Michigan, 3 children.

Leonard Gillett 1823, married Marie Carr, lived in Mendon until 1860, then moved to Indiana, then by 1870 to Ionia County, Michigan.

Catherine Gillett, 1829-1856, lived in Mendon, married Douglas Peck, 1 child.

Daniel Gillett 1831, married Frances M Wilson, lived in Mendon until 1860, then moved to Indiana, then to St Joseph County, Michigan.

Hannah Mary Gillett, 1833, lived in Mendon, married Laban Atwater Smith, moved to Ionia County, Michigan by 1870.
