About Emmett L Stewart
Emmett S. Stewart is the son of Benjamin F. Stewart and Angeline Craig. He married Annie Pearl Dillard June 5, 1900 in Missouri. They had at least two children: Clifford E. and Nellie C. Stewart.
In 1930 Emmett and Annie were living in Kansas City, Jackson county, Missouri. Their son-in-law, Ernest Biggs and daughter Nellie C. Biggs were also living in the home in 1930. Emmett was renting their home for $30 a month. He first married at age 21 and Annie first married at age 15. Nellie and Ernest had been married about two years Nellie first marrying at age 24 and Ernest at age 26. Emmett was a watch repairer in a drug store and Nellie was an inspector in a garment factory. Her husband Ernest Biggs was a moulder in a battery factory.
